i like DEATHNOTE. and i am sure there are many others out there who like it(the movie) too. but they did not like it because it's such a great Anime, they like it because others recomend them; it's a Japanese movie; others say it's nice... but i want them to like it because it's an Anime/Manga! yeah, sure the movie ticket sells fast, but what about the comics? yes, comics are selling but to those regular Manga/Anime fans only! did those stupid adults buy the comics? no! there are plenty on the shelves! and if DEATHNOTE was in an Anime version, would they have watched it as well? No! even if they did, it's all for the wrong reason, Manga/Anime is now very cool and they wanted to be 'in' as well. well? they liked it for thewrong reasons! from my point of view, these stupid adults should just stay out of the way and let us (the-very-nice) kids watch these Manga/Anime shows. so stupid meddling adults, lay your hands off Mangas and Animes! unless you are a true Anime/Manga fan of course. that you can be forgiven by Me. spoiler: L will be killed by Light (or so i think)

and have you heard of the new movie adapted from a Manga? i would LOVE to watch it, but unfortunately, they found the wrong actor. andy lau? puh-lease! i would rather buy the comics and read lo! who would want to watch an old guy run around fighting people? we would be thinking whether he would die of tiredness first!

so to all directors, if you want to adapt a movie from a Manga, make it an Anime, not into real-live acting - people will like it for all the wrong and shameless reasons.
