That time in OBS, i dont know whether i have told you this before.
so just in case i haven't, i shall narrate! :D
*british accent* i remember it like it was yesterday. we were having dinner after trekking back all the way back to camp 1 (or was it 2), (and yes on the same day Shruthi did the famous Koala-drink-water feat). the other half who did the cooking went down to bathe so those who were left on the hill have the
life-threatening duty of looking after the food (and making sure it went down our stomach as well).
so those important
Britannian soldiers (sorrywentonacodegeassspree) guards called into duty are: Danica, Megan, Shruthi, Priscilla, me and Idayu we were
bitching talking. we just noticed the dog stole the food from another group whose defence was full of openings (sorywatchedNaruto) and the dog came along and scooped the can into its mouth and happily skipped away into its home in the forest.
another dog, most probably its girl/boyfriend, was eyeing
us. so we purposely talked very loud. (muahahaha!!) more than 10 minutes went past and the dog's still cleverly hiding in the shadows of the tents. we went from sitting down, to standing up, to talking loudly, to Pris and Idayu going down to fetch our instructor out of caninephobia.
all of a sudden the dog stood up. we backed away. Shruthi was screaming away like crazy of which i forgot what were the words that came out because as i mentioned before, i have a uber bad memory, or was it in the earlier post...? anyway. that dog started
growling. (and man he have
alot of phlegm! clear your throat man!)
the first thought that struck my mind was "shit. when the dog starts chasing us, should i drop the can in my hand when i run, or should i hold on. habitually i would hold on, but in movies they look so cool when they drop stuff! but if i drop it, it would hit the dog... Huh, and they said OBS was safe." (yes i was thinking like Raito)
of course the next moment Hyezue our instructor literally appeared out of nowhere and chased the dog like a barbaric caveman hunting for his food and barking away like mad. yeah, and you know the next, i cried because it looked so much like a movie and stuff.
what im trying to pinpoint through this uh...
experience is not to tell you how i almost got killed by a dog (neither to finally be able to post this experience since the day i returned, no, not at all.)
what im trying to point out is,
I HAVE REALLY REALLY WEIRD THOUGHTS!!it'll be so SAD if its the last words i said (or thought) alive. at least let it be something meaningful like "well ive lived a great life" or "im finally able to meet Renji soon" but a "should i drop the can or not"?! as kirstene put it, your life is summarized by a "no!!" or "ah!!" or worse, "should i drop the can or not?".
just the other time i was watching a movie and the man's about to get bombed by a helicopter in front of him and because the scene was taken from the man's point of view, it's uber real. i whispered "oh shit."
see what i mean??
My life's summarized by an "oh" and a "shit". All those 15 years of joy, tears, what-the-hells, achievements, oh-my-gods are packed into a circle and the stuff that you see in the toilet bowl when your stomach hurts.
if i had a last word grave it'd be
